In this case (the string Semigroup), it takes two Strings as input and returns the concatonated String as an output.

In both the US and the UK, for example, every address (except possibly Buckingham Palace and 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue) has a postcode.I can't seem to find the right answer when it comes to retrieving and validating a date in java. It will be used for later display but not editing by the user.I was able to find some answers but they only apply to the current date which is not what I want (although it's probably very similar). Here are some of the additional things to keep in mind that the program has to be able to do later on: 1.So, what I'd like to ask for, is for you to give me some tips on how to for example, after declaring all the date parameters, i.e. get Assignment Day: This method should return the day that the current assignment is due. If there is no current assignment, it should return 0. get Assignment Month: This method should return the month that the current assignment is due. If there is no current assignment, it should return 0 Hopefully, that clears some things out but if you have any further questions then by all means ask. // Btw., do you think that what you mentioned, Simple Date Format would work in this case?that the Assignment is due for 23/11/2016 at , I am able to retrieve the day, the month, the minute, etc. I remember trying to apply it to my task but I was never taught how to use it properly and that's why I came here for help, hoping to find an answer and learn something new along the way, and Simple Date Format might just be the thing that I need.
